The Psychological Contract and The Library WorkerLibrarianship is on the frontlines in the battle for intellectual freedom. How does that affect library workers' mental, physical, and professional well-being? Presentation attendees will examine three interrelated topics impacting today's library employees: the psychological contract, workplace violence, and mental health. Compassion fatigue and self-care techniques will also be discussed. Speaker: Dr. Amy Helfritz DR. AMY HELFRITZ is the owner of Controlling Chaos, LLC, which focuses on improving mental health in the workplace. Her doctorate is in Psychology with a concentration in Organizational Leadership, specializing in Criminology and Justice Studies.
