PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS

Join your fellow library colleagues and friends May 17-19, 2023 for the 2023 FLA Annual Conference at the sunny Hilton Daytona Beach.  Soak up the beach breeze as we come together for a blast into the "New Frontier."   Over 30 events, including breakout sessions, receptions, and networking opportunities, will be featured this year.  For those unable to attend in person, FLA is happy to offer a virtual live-stream option again this year.

  • Preconference Sessions (5-16-2023 - separate registration required)
  • In-person and live streaming sessions so everyone can enjoy a great conference experience
  • Virtual live streaming option. This project was funded under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act from the Institute of Museum and Library Services.  Florida's LSTA program is administered by the Department of State's Division of Library and Information Services. $24,000 of total program costs funded by state government money.
  • Over 25 breakout sessions covering the following areas of interest: Advocacy, Professional & Personal Development, Diversity, Technology, Information Literacy and many more!
  • Connecting with new and old friends while soaking up the beach breeze at the Hilton Daytona Beach
  • Wine Toss is back!! to support FLA Scholarships
  • President's Reception featuring a 90s/sci-fi themed arcade event
  • Poster Sessions and Lightning Rounds
  • Networking with library vendors at our Exhibit Hall & Tradeshow in conjunction with refreshment breaks and our opening reception
