Program Dates: May 2019 - January 2020
Sponsored by the FLA Leadership Development, Library Career Development and Membership & Marketing Committees

ABOUT THE PROGRAM

This is an 8-month (May to January) volunteer mentoring program in which the participants would move at their own pace. Mentors and mentees will meet monthly (in-person, by phone, or virtually) and create a self-directed, customized mentoring strategy to benefit both of them. The pair will report their progress via a brief monthly check-in form and will receive support from the program as needed. See guidelines for more information.

The program is free and travel is optional.

This mentoring program helped me grow considerably in my career as a librarian and as a person too.” ~ Raquel Mendelow Rein, Librarian Consultant/Researcher (mentee)
