Cooks & Books: A Delicious Community PartnershipCommunity partnership is key in fostering a strong and healthy library presence. In this session, learn about a tasty and adaptable program which brings together local authors, professional chefs, and health organizations to offer a popular patron pick on the programming menu. Speakers: Heather Webb Heather Webb began her library career in the Marion County Public Library System in 2019, where she is now the Information Services Division Manager, and she has been the technology nerd and program coordinator for Cooks & Books for the past three years. She has degrees in English, Sociology, and Library and Information Science from the University of Florida and Florida State University. She has been working with literature for most of her life, whether as a writer, teacher, or librarian and has a passion for helping people find books to ignite their imaginations. David Freudenburg David Freudenburg has worked at the Marion County Public Library System for 15 years, where he is now supervisor at the Forest Public Library. Besides leading book clubs, presenting story times, and promoting the library, he has enjoyed hosting the Cooks & Books series of programs for the last three years. He has degrees in music, education, and history from Valparaiso University in Indiana and from Queens College in New York. In his spare time, he enjoys singing, playing the piano, and creating family gatherings. Track: Public Relations
