 FLA Poster Proposal Presentation Information

Poster Presentations - May 15-17, 2024 at Hilton Doubletree Universal Orlando

Poster presentations are a unique opportunity to share with a wide range of professional colleagues. Poster presentations may cover an array of topics such as, but not limited to, reports on library projects and programs, research studies, current and future trends, and problem analysis. Poster  presenters will create high-quality visual material to cover a 4 foot by 8-foot area and will be expected to discuss their poster with other conference attendees. For information about the conference, please visit the FLA Conference Website.

Poster Session Tips

  • This is a visual presentation. It should be creative and visually appealing as well as informative and readable from several feet away. Make as big an impact on the eye as you can.
  • Titles should be simple, to the point, and catchy.
  • Your display should be easy to follow in a logical manner. Avoid clutter.
  • All material should be visible from about 4 feet.
  • Handouts are strongly encouraged but are not required.
  • Alternatively, you may want to have a sign-up sheet or collect business cards to email the handouts afterward.
