Membership Refund/Cancellation Policy

 

FLA Membership Refund/Cancellation Policy

  • The Florida Library Association (FLA) reserves the right to refuse/cancel a membership in the FLA.
  • If FLA refuses or cancels a new or renewing membership, registrants will be offered a refund.

Membership Cancellation by Participant

  • Membership cancellations received within three (3) business days of registration may be eligible to receive a full refund less at$10 administrative fee.
  • Cancellations received after the stated deadline will not be eligible for a refund.
  • Cancellations will be accepted via e-mail and must be received by the stated cancellation deadline.
  • All refund requests must be made by the FLA member.
  • Refund requests must include the name of the member and/or membership number.
  • Refunds will be credited back to the original credit card used for payment or mailed a check.

These above policies apply to all FLA memberships, except for ALA-FLA Joint Student memberships, which are administered via ALA. These policies are in effect when your dues payment has been processed.
