The Next Frontier: Creating Management Magic In the New Normal

Successful management of a team can be the deciding factor in retaining a skilled workforce, and while more librarians are being assigned to manage people, this skill set is different from librarianship. Jennifer has been the Associate Director of the Lake County Library System since August 2021, and a manager with the Osceola Library System for 9 years before that. She has taught all levels of patrons, from retired senior citizens through Stetson University’s Lifelong Learning Program, to a Masters’ track library science class at Florida State University. She was published in the CSLP Summer Reading manual two years in a row, and presented at the 2014 Florida Library Association Annual Conference.
