Participants will have the opportunity to engage one-on-one with speakers to learn about successful ways their libraries have connected with their communities and act as leaders. This program employs a round-table format to allow for personal interactions between speakers and participants. Participants will have the opportunity to discuss with presenters in detail the lessons learned through the provision of programming, outreach, resources, and services. Participants will walk away with practical information that can applied in their own libraries and to their own practices. Speakers for this event are to be determined. Diversity in perspectives and topics will be considered in selecting the mix of presenters. This round-table session is offered by the Continuing Education Committee.
