Jeffrey Huggins, Tampa-Hillsborough County Public Library

In both private and public sectors, Jeffrey has more than 20 years of experience in the legislative process and more than 10 years of expertise in publications and media, working with a variety of individuals and both government and community organizations. He has, in some way or another, been involved with local, state and federal government for nearly the last 30 years.

He is now pleased to be working with the incredible Tampa-Hillsborough County Library System, and the Friends of the Library, using his experience to engage with the many diverse neighborhoods, partner with the vibrant business community and let everyone know how libraries strengthen and grow our communities.

Prior to joining THCPL, he spent the last eight years with Hillsborough County Commissioner Sandy Murman, handling legislative policy, media and public relations, communications and community outreach and engagement.
