Cheap and Easy Cosplay: Creative Library Programming for all Budgets

Cosplay, the art of costuming and prop making, is immensely popular among teens and adults and can help to draw in this often under represented demographic and encourage active involvement in library programming. Cosplay doesn't always have to be a "go big or go home" affair with the most expensive tools and supplies you can find. Cosplay is currently such a huge phenomenon because it allows anyone with an interest the ability to join the party, and while it can be intimidating to find that jumping off point it can be accomplished with surprisingly little in the way of startup.
